Prognosis management

On the basis of the Estimate to Complete, a prognosis can be made of the remaining project (component) with the help of the realized units and costs, so that you know at any time whether the project is ‘on course’ or threatening to end, with all the financial consequences involved. With ProjectSoft PM the earned value of each project (component) can be determined and with it the cost variance (CV) and the planning variance (SV). This data can be displayed nicely in a ‘polar’ diagram, in which the cost variance, planning variance, expected versus finalized, and the indices SPI and CVI are also displayed concisely.
